graduated from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) of Havana and currently, a PhD student of Social Anthropology at Iberoamericana University of Mexico City. She is a multidisciplinary artist who has explored video, installation and performance as ways of documenting the artworks which carry a strong conceptual and political concern.
Her artwork was featured, among many in “Esok” Jakarta Biennale, (Indonesia); in Arco Madrid with Ángeles Baños Gallery; “La otra isla”, Casa Galván, Mexico City; “Cross Currents”, Smart Museum of Art and National Museum of Mexican Art, Chicago; “Itinerarios XXV”, Botín Center, Santander, and Kochi-Muziris Biennale”, Kerala, (India).
