A part of the installation “Vida profiláctica” by Hamlet Lavastida, has been included this week in the collection of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, one of the most prestigious in contemporary art, based in Madrid, Spain.
“Vida profiláctica” was created by Lavastida between 2014 and 2021, was already part of the exhibition Giro gráfico in 2022. Como en el muro la hiedra, at the Reina Sofia itself, alongside Cuban artists Tania Bruguera, Ezequiel Suarez, Reynier Leyva Novo, Leandro Feal, Lester Alvarez, Abel Gonzalez Fernandez, Kevin Avila and Julio Llopiz.
